This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced retail leasing professional with deep relationships across national and regional retailers and a proven ability to originate demand, secure anchor commitments and drive projects from pre-leasing through opening. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of retail leasing experience, ideally with an owner/developer and significant experience with ground-up, anchor-driven shopping center development.

RETS Associates, on behalf of our client, a fully integrated, Office / Industrial / R&D / Mixed-Use investor, is seeking an Investment Associate in their San Francisco office. The Investment Associate will play an active role in evaluating, underwriting, and transacting a range of investment opportunities in the Bay Area, utilizing sophisticated financial models and ARGUS software. The individual will be part of an open, collaborative, and flexible workplace, supporting and working directly with the acquisitions team and Partners of the firm in all aspects of real estate investing. The ideal candidate will have 3 – 6 years of experience within a real estate investment, development, lending, brokerage firm, or real estate investment banking required. Must have deal experience.

Backed by one of the world’s leading global investment firms, this senior leadership role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to deploy substantial institutional capital while helping build and expand a growing regional investment platform. The SVP will lead sourcing, underwriting, negotiation, and execution of institutional-quality industrial acquisitions, with a strong emphasis on relationship-driven deal origination. The SVP will also play a key role in building the Atlanta office and developing a dedicated regional investment team.
